Bloom Time: May to Frost!
Water: Very drought tolerant
Features: The best butterfly magnet we know of!! Literally covered with tri-color flowers from late Spring to frost! The hardiest of Lantanas. Give this one room to grow. A must in every landscape and a Wilson Bros. Favorite. Totally drought tolerant and pest free. DO NOT PRUNE IN FALL!!
Companions: Other Lantanas, Verbenas, Setcresia (PurpleHearts), Sedums, and many other perennials. Junipers, Loropetalums, Yucca, Barberries, Hollies and many many more.

Water: Very drought tolerant
Features: A butterfly magnet! Covered in pink and yellow bi-color flower clusters from late Spring to frost! We just added this one to our hardy list as ours has survived 5 winters. Totally drought tolerant and pest free. DO NOT PRUNE IN FALL!!
Companions: Setcrecia (Purple Hearts), Verbenas, Sedums, and many other perennials. Loropetalums, Barberries, Yuccas, Junipers, and many other shrubs.

Water: Average to low
Features: Very natural looking upright shrub with arching branches and rich green foliage and orange new growth. Excellent for use as an evergreen screen in shady situations. Fits in nicely around shady garden ponds or other bodies of water.
Companions: Mahonias, Azaleas, Florida Anise, and other plants that prefer afternoon shade.

Features: Outstanding variegated green and creamy white leaves on this attractive evergreen shrub. Useful as a foundation plant or low maintanence hedge. Also good for planting in groups on embankments.
Companions: Junipers, Soft Touch Holly, Cotoneaster, Crimson Pigmy Barberry, Loropetalums, Indian Hawthorne, Hollies, and more.

Features: Handsome, dark blue-green leaves on this upright evergreen shrub that is good for hedges, screening, or as a tree-form specimen. White flowers in Spring contrast nicely against the dark foliage. Very fast growing!
Companions: Dwarf Yaupon Holly, Soft Touch Holly, Variegated Pittosporum, Abelias, Spireas, Lantanas, and many more.

Exposure: Full Sun or Partial Shade
Bloom Color: White - fragrant
Bloom Time: Spring
Water: Low
Features: Outstanding variegated green and white foliage on this fast growing shrub or small tree. Excellent for screening. Not a good foundation plant except on, or in, the corners.
Companions: Junipers, Carissa Holly, Soft Touch Holly, Loropetalums, and other various shrubs that have dark foliage.

Exposure: Full Sun is preferred but will tolerate some shade
Bloom Color: Fuschia-Pink
Bloom Time: Spring and Fall!
Water: Low
Features: Deep purple-red foliage contrasts wonderfully with the fringe-like fuschia-pink flowers in Spring and Fall. An excellent foundation or corner plant. Makes a nice low maintenance hedge or tree-form specimen too. 'Ruby', one of the low growing varieties makes an excellent substitute foe Azaleas in full sun areas.
Companions: Soft Touch Holly, Dwarf Yaupon, Abelias, Dwarf Spirea, Junipers, Indian Hawthorne, Ornamental Grasses, Daisy Gardenia, Lantanas, and many more.

Laurel 'Otto Luyken'
Botanical:
Prunus laurocerasus
Height x Width: 4-5' H x 4-5' W
Exposure: Afternoon Shade is preferred for best performance
Bloom Color: White
Bloom Time: Spring
Water: Average to Low
Features: White flower spikes produced in Spring against deep green foliage. This is a plant grown in the northwest and there have been some problems in the south with shotgun disease due to higher temps and humidity.
Companions: Soft Touch Holly, Hosta Lilies, Harbour Dwarf Nandina, Ivy, Flame Creeper Azalea, Dogwoods, Red Bud Trees, Japanese Painted Fern, and other plants that do well in afternoon shade situations.

Mahonia 'Grapeberry' or 'Leatherleaf'
Botanical:
Mahonia beali
Height x Width: 4-5' H x 4-5' W
Exposure: Shade or Afternoon Shade
Bloom Color: Yellow flowers followed by purple-blue berries!
Bloom Time: Spring
Water: Low
Features: The lustrous, bold, leathery foliage is outstanding in the landscape. Tassels of yellow flowers are produced atop the stems in Spring and are followed by clusters of berries resembling grapes. Very low maintanence. Useful as a foundation plant or in shady isalnds or perennial gardens.
Companions: Azaleas, Nandinas, Aucubas, Dogwoods, Red Bud Trees, Hosta Lilies, Perennial Ferns, Lecouthoe, and many other shade loving plants or trees.
