PLANT
CHARACTERISTICS -
RTF is a special blend of two dwarf
turf-type fescues and one rhizomatous
tall fescue. This premium blend
will display excellent germination,
growth and color. RTF will become
green earlier in the spring and
stay green longer in the fall. If
your lawn gets heavy use and portions
of the lawn thin, RTF will send
out rhizomes and fill in the bare
spots to give you a healthier and
thicker turf!

SEEDING
RATES:
Overseeding
Existing Turf: 4 -5 lbs. per 1,000
sq. ft.
New
Lawns: 7-10 lbs. per 1,000 sq.
ft.
GERMINATION
AND ESTABLISHMENT: Keep seedbed
moist to enhance germination.
Germination should begin within
within 7-14 days and be complete
within 21 days. The stand will
be fully established in 30 days.
FERTILIZATION:
For optimum results apply a
good starter fertilizer.
MOWING:
Mow at 2 to 3 inch height and
a little taller during the heat
of summer. Do not remove more
than 1/3 of total plant height
with each mowing.
WATERING: After establishment,
a deep watering program is recommended
during dry spells to maintain
healthy roots.
