Below is a listing of perennial plants that bloom or are otherwise outstanding during the Fall season. You will notice that many of the plants listed bloom at other times during the year too - some blooming from as early as April all the way to Frost!

Water: Prefers consistent moisture. Water during dry spells.
Features: Stately native plant producing large rounded domes of lilac flower clusters in late summer and fall at the ends of sturdy stems that are clothed in vanilla scented leaves. Excellent as a background in soils that retain some moisture during dry spells.
Companions: Elephant Ears, Iris, Bee Balm, Calla Lily, Canna Lily Bengal Tiger, perennial Hibiscus, Bog Salvia, Joe Pye Weed, and other plants that prefer moisture retentive soils.

Features: Unrivaled for attracting butterflies! The flower clusters are produced in abundance from late spring thru fall. Leave plenty of room in the garden for these fast growing, mounding perennial shrubs. Very drought tolerant. A must in every garden or landscape! Most definitely a Wilson Bros Favorite!! Prune back in Spring when new growth begins to emerge. Fall pruning insures death.
