Exclusive
MESA nitrogen delivers the synergy
of ammonium sulfate and Meth-Ex 40
in a single, non-burning homogeneous
granule. MESA is an excellent alternative
to SCU because it can't suffer from
lockoff or catastrophic release. Ammonium
sulfate and iron combine to provide
very fast green-up and exceptional
dark green turf color. 1:1 N to K
ratio provides higher potassium levels
to improve leaf structure for better
mowing and also to improve turf tolerance
to disease and other forms of stress.
Meth-Ex 40 methylene urea complex
provides extended feeding with improved
reliability and consistency when compared
to sulfur coated products.

that provides high phosphorus and
extended feeding for established and
developing turf. Wilson Bros. recommends
this product as a starter fertilizer
for Bermuda, zoysia and fescue lawns,
and also as a rejuvinator for established
turf. |

| Phosphorus
is essential for turf establishment.
However, because of it’s immobility
in the soil it can often limit results,
even in soils adequate or high ambient
phosphorus levels. Nitrogen is also
essential for new seedling development,
but often quick release starters do
not provide nitrogen once the seedling
germinates. ProScape starter contains
Meth-Ex nitrogen, an innovative methylene
urea complex. It uses microbial release
to increase nitrogen availability
during periods of high turf demand,
and conserve nitrogen when growing
conditions are not ideal. Less nitrogen
is lost to leaching and volatilization
for less waste and a more consistent
sustained feeding. The 16-25-12 ratio
is ideal for over-seeding, new turf
establishment, or amending phosphorus
deficient soils. When used as a starter
fertilizer the slow release nitrogen
provides feeding throughout the early
period of turf development. The higher
nitrogen rate also makes 16-25-12
an ideal analysis for over-seeding
existing turf where there is mature
turf in the stand that requires higher
nitrogen for development. |
